Join us on Saturday, October 17th for a special passenger train experience in Stuart! The Iowa Interstate Railroad’s historic passenger cars will be in Stuart, offering train rides to Adair as a fundraiser for the White Pole Road Scenic Byway.
Step back in time and experience the charm of 100-year-old passenger train cars. The round-trip ride from Stuart to Adair is approximately 40-50 minutes, giving passengers a unique opportunity to enjoy the countryside from the rails.
All loading, unloading, and lining up for each departure will take place at the Stuart Rock Island Depot.
Space is limited, so advance ticket purchase is encouraged.

Tickets must be purchased online in advance through the White Pole Road Scenic Byway website. Visit www.whitepoleroad.com/events and click “Ride the Train!” to select your departure time and purchase tickets. A limited amount of tickets will be available day of at the Stuart Rock Island Depot.
Want to make the experience even more memorable? Dressing in period-correct clothing is encouraged but not required! Come dressed for the era and help us step back in time aboard these historic passenger cars.
All proceeds help support the White Pole Road Scenic Byway and its efforts to preserve and promote the history, communities, and heritage along the White Pole Road.
